Progress at Bolnhurst WRC!

We were delighted to welcome the Anglian Water @one Alliance design team to Bolnhurst Water Recycling Centre to review progress on our ongoing installation.

The “algae cathedral” is now standing tall, with equipment arriving on site and construction advancing rapidly. We are witnessing some fantastic work by Waveneys and fabulous support from all the construction and site team! Thank you Carl Klein and Gary Freeman, from Shaun Carter and CambridgeHOK

The objective of the project is to replace ageing assets and provide complete wastewater treatment including removal of nutrients, persistent organic pollutants and pathogens; to protect Bedfordshire's precious wetlands and the welfare of communities.

Thank you to all the design team including Paul Curtis , Zerai Habte BEng (Hons) CEng MIET , William Sach , Jamie Rees and, of course, Jude Meloni for his lead ….and his excellent drone film-making.

Together, we are setting a new standard for sustainable wastewater treatment in the UK.
